All of us at Star 88.3 want to take a moment to say “thank you” for listening today. We know things sound a little different as we have our big Pledge Drive. 

What we’re doing is raising the majority of our operating budget for the next 12 months. Our station license doesn’t allow us to sell commercials (like others stations) so we have to raise money by asking listeners like you to support us with monthly or one- time donations.

While hearing us ask for money may make you feel uncomfortable, we hope you understand why we do it. Plus, it gives us an opportunity to tell you some incredible stories of lives that have been impacted by the station.

During our Pledge Drive, you’ll hear us talk about some giveaways we are offering. We want you to know that all of these items and prizes have been donated by area businesses who believe in supporting a radio station that impacts lives. It’s just a small way of showing our appreciation for your support especially during these tough economic times.
