Celebrate our country's independence at the annual July 4th Festival at Bixler Lake Park. Bag-O, 3 on 3 Basketball and Soccer tournaments. Family-friendly activities include face-painting, games, live music and a giant fireworks display over beautiful Bixler Lake. Fun during the day...fireworks at dusk.

Warsaw

Winona Lake
- Firecracker 5K run
Date: June 30, at Winona Lake
Firecracker 5K run at 8 a.m.; registration is at 7 a.m. Family Festivities will follow throughout the day. http://www.winonalake.net/parks.htm.

- MasterWorks Patriotic Pops Concert
Date: June 30 @ 7:30
Where: Amphitheater across from Village at Winona (1000 Park Ave.)
The day will conclude with fireworks over Winona Lake at dusk.

Angola

with music, concessions and an auction afterward at Commons Park. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Where: Riverside Gardens Park
The 10th annual Freedom Festival begins at 2 p.m. July 4 at Riverside Gardens Park at Schwartz and Leo-Grabill roads. Food vendors, children’s rides and live music will take place throughout the day. Fireworks begin at dusk. Parking $3.
